Simply Being Together

Some people have lofty dreams,
but I only wish that we could
be together somewhere beautiful
where a bit of heaven
is reflected back to earth.
We could sit side-by-side
on the cool grass,
and talk about everything.
We'd cherish the wonderful
warmth and closeness
of simply being together.
