God created you and I to produce light in a dark world.

No matter how small we are or what color we might be,
Like a little candle, we all can produce the same amount of light.

It is always up to us, either to get lost in darkness...
or sparkle and show light to others.

When We Have Hope

As long as we have hope, we have direction,
the energy to move, and the map to move by.

We have a hundred alternatives,
a thousand paths and an infinity of dreams.

Hopeful, we are halfway to where we want to go;
Hopeless, we are lost forever.
